The island
Most of Lindeman Island is forested national park, with coral reef within a hundred metres of the shore. The surrounding waters are classified as being of high ecological value, and the resort is being built so that they stay that way.
The resort
Three resort areas are taking shape, with restaurants and bars, a rebuilt arrival lobby, a new jetty, and power that is mainly solar. The images below are the architects’ designs, not photographs of finished rooms.
On the water
The island’s own boat sails to Whitehaven Beach, out over the fringing reef, and between the islands at sunset.

Reports and approvals
Before any building began, the water quality of the fringing reef and of the island’s fresh water was recorded, from April 2024 to May 2025, as a baseline. Any change during construction and operation can now be measured against it. That report and the project’s approvals are published here in full.
