The Coordinator-General’s conditions of approval require the project’s community and stakeholder engagement plan to be publicly available on this site. The water quality record is published alongside it.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plan

How Wellsmart Group will keep the community, local councils, government agencies and local businesses informed and involved while Lindeman Island is restored and rebuilt. It names the stakeholders and sets out how they are engaged, how complaints are resolved, and how the plan is reviewed. Approved by the Coordinator-General on 15 March 2024 under Appendix 1, Schedule 1, Condition 1 of the Evaluation Report; reviewed yearly during construction and for two years after opening. The approval letter follows.

Baseline Water Quality Report and Revised Water Quality Monitoring Program

Water quality monitoring of the marine waters around Lindeman Island and the fresh waters on it, carried out from April 2024 to May 2025. It records the condition of the water before the resort is rebuilt, so that any change during construction and operation can be measured against it, and it sets out the revised monitoring program that follows. Prepared to satisfy Condition 5 of EPBC approval 2015/7461.
